What we collect
Paper Shapers stores the account details needed to provide your study desk, the paper briefs and attempts you create, and messages you voluntarily send through our contact form. For a live classroom room, the teacher can see the student name, roll number, and answers entered for that room.
Google sign-in
If Google sign-in is enabled and you choose it, Google sends us your verified email address, Google account subject identifier, and basic profile name. We use these only to create or open your Paper Shapers account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendars, and we do not store Google access or refresh tokens.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide the service, keep your study history available to you, respond to enquiries, maintain safety, and improve the product. We do not sell personal student information or use study answers to target advertising.
Study content and AI providers
Your generated papers and attempts belong to your private study workflow. They are not displayed publicly. Paper requests are sent to the configured server-side generation provider only to make the requested paper or formative feedback. Do not include sensitive personal information in answers or contact messages.
Payments and mobile installation
If you choose to pay, Razorpay handles checkout and payment credentials. We store your account-linked order reference, type, amount, currency, payment reference, status and membership expiry for reconciliation and support. We do not store card numbers or payment PINs or send study answers to Razorpay. Checkout loads provider software only when you choose to pay. Billing records may need retention under applicable accounting law; ask us about access or deletion. The Android APK opens the website in your browser and does not store account or study data itself. Browser cookies and device drafts still follow the website rules. The installable home-screen app caches only a generic offline page, not private papers, API responses or payment information. Answer drafts remain on your device as described by the study experience.
Minors and schools
Paper Shapers is designed for Class 1–12 learners, who may be under 18. A parent, guardian, school, or coaching organisation should review this notice before arranging use by a child where local law requires it. The service should not be used to collect more student data than is necessary for practice.
Retention and requests
Account and study records remain available while the account is active. You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing hello@papershapers.in. The operator must complete the documented end-to-end deletion process across the web database and paper-generation store before public launch.
Operational logs
To understand failures and maintain the service, we log coarse page-request groups, API status codes, durations, random request references, queue outcomes, provider names and reported token counts. Our structured events do not contain student answers, contact messages, account IDs, names, emails, IP addresses or full URLs. They do not record your screen or build a persistent visitor profile. Authorised operators view runtime logs through our hosting providers; retention depends on their plan. Hosting providers may independently record network metadata under their own policies. Support references help us find the relevant request when you report a problem.
Advertising and cookies
Paper Shapers does not currently show third-party advertising. If contextual advertising is introduced, this page will explain the provider and choices before it is switched on. Read the cookie notice for the essential sign-in cookies used today.
Marketplace content, images and location
We store account-linked notices, compressed promotional images, selected public state/city, preset category tags, approximate public venue neighbourhood cells, safety decisions and reports in separate marketplace tables. Text and optional images are sent to the configured AI provider for content review; text currently prefers Groq and image review uses Gemini. Provider processing follows the configured service and its terms. Do not upload private or sensitive information. Original image metadata is stripped during re-encoding. Public access is limited to approved, unexpired notices; withdrawal removes public visibility. A Google verified-email identity can support automated publication, but does not verify age or a business.
Browser location is optional and requested only after you choose the location button. Coordinates are rounded before the search request, used for an approximate area, and not saved as a visitor location history. Hosting providers may still record request metadata. We do not use Study answers or precise location for advertising. Marketplace retention/deletion, provider disclosures, grievance handling and incident procedures must be finalised with the operator before public launch. You can request correction, deletion or review by contacting the address below.
Marketplace reservations and activity
If you sign in and open a visible marketplace notice, we record one account-linked detail view. Interest is optional and reversible. Public counts show account totals, never attendee identities. When requesting a reservation, you agree to share your account display name with that organiser; we store the request and its status. Only you and the organiser see the request identity in their dashboards. We do not send it to AI providers or advertising networks. Anonymous visitors are not included in these counts. Organisers may use the name only to manage the request, not for marketing. Email, SMS and push alerts are not enabled; check your local desk for updates. Contact us to request access or deletion of these records.
